The 9 species of primates include chimpanzees as well as many smaller monkeys and our family of Hamadryas and Chacma Baboons.
Our bird collection ranges from the tiny finches, parrots right through our variety of free flying ducks and geese on our duck pond to our Ostrich and Emus. There are many wild hornbills in the area as well an abundance of free ranging peafowl which are always ready to beg for treats at the kiosk.
The stars of the reptile collection are the highly endangered sungazer lizards which we are hoping will breed in the future.
There are also a number different snakes to be seen, including anacondas, which are the biggest breed of snake in the world. The Zoo houses a large leopard tortoise collection and our crocodile is always a popular attraction.
